From Tibbets Corner (the junction of the A3 and the A219) take the A219 north towards central London. After 600 yards, at the traffic lights take the first left into Putney Heath Road. Pass the Green Man pub (on your right) and a bus station (left) and after 100 yards turn left at the mini-roundabout into Wildcroft Road. After 400 yards first right into Telegraph Road then almost immediately left into Portsmouth Road. Lynden Gate is at the end of Portsmouth Road on the left.
Come to Putney (main line) or East Putney (Underground - District line) station. It is a 20-30 minute walk, or a 5 minute taxi, or a 15 minute bus/walk from either. From East Putney turn left outside the station and walk for 600 yards (or from Putney main line turn left outside the station and walk 50 yards) to the traffic lights at the junction of Putney Hill and Upper Richmond Road.
